Black and Blue "coral"-style necklace

This is a custom order made for a dear friend of mine. I used black seed and bugle beads, fire polished and handmade glass bead of this beautiful blue color. This is a very popular technique, which is not very hard or complex, but does require quite a bit of work. This one took me a day to make.

Amazonite and Sterling Silver

This is the new bracelet I wanted to show. I've made that using all the wonderful stuff I've bought on Friday - amazonite and Bali sterling silver. It looks soo gentle!

So ok, I haven't posted in a while, but I've been so tired all the time lately... I realy don't know what is wrong with me.
Anyway, this Friday I went shopping for supplies, and found some nice stuff. The main attraction was. of course, sterling silver findings, which I bought at a very good price locally. That surprized me a great deal, since I expected silver to be much more expensive here due to customs, but maybe they produce it here?.. Don't know, but I sure bought a few beautiful toggle clasps and already used them. I'll post the pictures of the new bracelets later. :)
I also have some orders I have to fill till New Year, and had a purchase from a recurring customer who isn't friend or family. Yay for repeat customers! It's so nice knowing that someone likes your jewelry enough to come back for more.

I'm feeling so down lately - mainly because of luck of success on Etsy and because of the academic stuff that I'm too busy with lately. Like the paper that I have to finish till the end of the week, and the lab report. The only thing I really look forward to is a meeting with a friend tomorrow and a trip to buy supplies on Friday with my hubby.

This is a necklace I made for a friend of mine. She wanted something to represent the Nauglamir (from the Silmarillion), so I used a clear large Swarovski for the central focal point, and added freshwater pearls all around.

I'm just so tired lately, I cant's seem to be able to do anything. Yesterday I spent an hour cleaning the stove, which simply drained me of any leftover energy. The good thing is a have another package waiting for me at the mail, and I do hope it's my FMG order with the sterling silver clasps. Then I'll be able to make some planned necklaces and bracelets, to put in my shop on the weekend.
Plus, I have so much other things to do! Like writing that microscopy paper I've been avoiding for months...

Yep, got my BlueMud package today. That was great too, though I made a mistake of ordering two identical eagle pendants from the two shops. Oops. I guess they'll both end up on my charm bracelet... I'm planning to make two of those - on for my best friend for her birthday, with horses, and one for me, a really fun one, with birds of prey and a pirate ship.
That's because I have a character in a story and in a RPG, who is a pirate and whose sigil is a gyrfalcon. he comes from a family of rulers in a country where nobles have birds for family and personal sigils. It's a little complicated, I may write more about it someday.

Oh, and please ignore the Yahoo writing at the bottom of the post - that's because I'm updating via email. Does anybody know if I can get rid of it somehow?

I've just got my package from FusionBeads, and the second one from BlueMud is waiting at the post office. I ordered mainly some sterling silver charms for a couple of bracelets. Wow, this stuff is gorgeous! I'm going to place another order now. :)

I'm on Blogger!

This is my first post on the new blog. I hope I'll be able to update it often, the truth is I'm not very good at regular writing. But it really seems like fun here, so good luck to me! :)
